Home Based Exercise Physiology Our flexible home-based exercise physiology service brings the convenience to your doorstep. Whether it's your own home, respite accomodation, a residential aged-care home, or even the local park, we come to you. We recognise that not everyone can easily access or prefers a physical clinic setting. At SeniorsFitness, we firmly believe that a home-based service can yeild equally excellent results as a clinic-based one. Our home exercise physiology service is custom-tailored to assist you in achieving your goals effectively. Moreover, we extend our support by offering training to family members, friends and caregivers in simple exercise programs, ensuring your ongoing rehabilitation is well-assisted and comprehensive. ​
Falls Prevention and Balance Training The consequences of falls and reduced balance can greatly affect an individual's overall health and well-being, severely restricting their community engagement. Our exercise physiologists are highly proficient in delivering expert fall prevention guidance and tailored exercise regimens to enhance balance and boost confidence, enabling individuals to maintain mobility. Private Health Insurance
(if covered for Exercise Physiology)
AEPs are allied-health professionals with Medicare Provider numbers and are trained members of the health and medical sector. You are able to claim from your private health fund if you are covered for item numbers 502, 102 and 202. Please check with your health fund to see if you can
Medicare Rebates
Patients may be eligible to claim up to 5 Medicare sessions per year following approval from their General Practitioner. Eligible patients will be provided a Management Plan (for Chronic conditions only) where they can choose to use their 5 sessions for Exercise Physiology and/or alongside other Allied Health.

The current Medicare rebate for initial and standard consults is $58.00 (Last edited 20th Jul 23)
